District President Phyllis Noonan called the group to order, and Johnana Clark, President of the host club, gave a greeting. Mary Eck of Etude Ctub responded.

Opening exercises included group participation in the Federation Collect and Hymn, and reports were begun with that of the President, who reminded members that the 100th Anniversary of Texas Federation will take place in Brownwood (location of the initial meeting in 1915) in March 2015. The celebration will extend into 2016, when TFMC will meet in Austin, with our district hosting. Special pins celebrating the Cennteniat were shown and purchases made.

Lois Armor of San Antonio gave the Treasurer's report, a copy of which is attached. The main item is always the District Junior Festival, and the proposed budget showed expected increases for the 2015 event. Judy Gorell of Arpeggio Music Academy in San Antonio is the new festival chairman and suggested to the group several ways that she expected to cut expenses. thus avoiding raising the entry fee of $16 for each student's events in 2015. Carolyn McCullough moved approval of the 2014-2015 budget, Marque McKay seconded, and the motion passed.

A motion was made by Marque McKay allowing for the Festival Chair to raise the individual fee per event up to $17 if required the next year (2016), seconded by Johnana Clark. Motion carried.

Virginia Kniesner of Austin gave memorial tributes to Robert MacDonald, Arnold Spitzer, Past District Secretary Carol Granger (also past Wednesday Morning President), and Gus Gutman, all of Austin.

Announcement was made of the next district meeting, to be in June 2015 in San Antonio. Members were encouraged to bring others, to increase attendance.

A credentials report was given by Mary Lou Connelly of Austin, and President Phyllis expressed thanks to the New Braunfels members for hosting the event. A delicious lunch was served.
